If you're here, I'm guessing you've recently got engaged and are starting to think about your wedding photography.
I'm Abby, the face behind A.Manning Photography, a relaxed and natural wedding photographer based in Dover, Kent, and covering weddings across Kent.
I've been photographing for over 6 years, and I absolutely love what I do. But what I love most about weddings isn't simply taking beautiful photographs — it's being there for the moments that make your day yours.
The nervous excitement before the ceremony.
The look on your partner's face when they see you for the first time.
Parents trying not to cry.
Your friends making you laugh when you're supposed to be taking a serious photograph.
The hugs, the happy tears, the chaos and, of course, the questionable dance moves.
Those are the photographs I want to give you.
I don't want your wedding day to feel like one long photoshoot.
Of course, we'll make time for some beautiful photographs of the two of you, and I'll gently guide you when you need it — especially if you're not used to being in front of a camera.
But for the rest of the day, I'll be there to capture what's actually happening.
The little looks between you.
The laughter with your friends.
The grandparents, the children, the people who travelled miles to be there.
The moments you didn't even realise were happening.
My aim is for you to look through your gallery years from now and not just think “that's a lovely photo” — but remember exactly how you felt in that moment.

How I photograph your wedding
I offer three wedding packages, depending on how much of your day you'd like me to be there for.
🤍 Silver — up to 3 hours
Perfect for couples looking for coverage of the ceremony and the moments immediately around it.
🤍 Gold — up to 6 hours
From your ceremony through to just after your first dance, capturing plenty of the celebrations along the way.
🤍 Platinum — up to 10 hours
From bridal preparations through to just after your first dance, giving me more time to tell the complete story of your day.
All packages include:
- Your full edited gallery delivered digitally
- Colour and black & white versions of your photographs
- Sneak peek photographs within 72 hours
- A 30–45 minute pre-wedding shoot
- A relaxed meeting before your wedding so we can get to know each other and chat through your plans
And throughout your day, I'll always be looking for those little moments between you and the people you love.
Honestly.
If you're worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera, you're not alone.
Most couples aren't models and most people don't spend their weekends practising their wedding poses!
You don't need to know what to do.
I'll give you direction when you need it, make things as relaxed as possible and then let you get on with enjoying your day.
You get to be yourselves. I'll take care of the photographs.
